Charities We Support

Mission Statement          The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona responds to the root causes of hunger, and seeks to restore dignity, health, opportunity and hope to people living in poverty. Our mission is to change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today, and building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow.
Programs include emergency food assistance and free meals, as well as a farmers’ market, community gardens, nutrition education, culinary training, support for local growers and food systems, advocacy, and more. We partner with over 350 organizations to serve five counties of Southern Arizona—over 23,000 square miles.

We serve families, kids, seniors, and communities. Our programs focus on 3 key areas to end hunger and poverty. Health and food, education and community development.  We’re a proud member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks and hunger relief organizations. In 2018, we were named Food Bank of the Year by Feeding America. If you would like to assist the CFB you can make a monetary donation, volunteer, host a food and fund drive or Fundraiser. Please reach out to CFB Community Engagement engage@communityfoodbank.org with any questions.
